Today was spent at the Clinic getting blood and platelets. The doctors had stopped the bladder medication almost 2 weeks ago to see how the bladder would react. After acouple of painful days and alot of bleeding from the kidneys, they have restarted the medication. This medication reacts quickly so Chuck should be back on track of healing within a couple of days.
He contracted another bacterial infection but the doctors tell us not to be "too" concerned with it and he'll just need to add another pill to his arsonal for a couple of weeks. What's another pill when he's already taking 60 a day.
They continue to adjust his other medications as they monitor his liver levels.
We approached the doctor about the possiblity of taking this "show" to Myrtle Beach. There are cancer treatment centers there but they are not "Transplant" center. They are not equipped to handle all of Chuck's issues at this time. The doctor did tell as Chuck condition improves and he needs to be down here less often for checkups, they will work with the Cancer centers back home for his infussions....
We look forward to that day......

I am happy to note that chuck is making a speedy recovery. I am a little worried about the bacterial infection that he contracted recently. I hope that this will not cause any significant problems to him. In my view Chuck should not be shifted anywhere at this time. They should wait for Chuck to recover fully. Otherwise his condition will get worse once again. I will be remembering Chuck in my prayers. I am sure that God will take care of him.

The first thing that happens is that you're overwhelmed by so much attention. It's just so unnatural. Only people who've been in that position can realize what it's like. I mean, you have to be there.

In spite of certain distressing but isolated occurrences in the last battle, I certainly hoped that the Army would be in a position to continue to hold out.
